Our Homestead Dogs
A Blend of our Favourite Breeds
The traits and temperaments of the border collie and Labrador retriever breeds make for an adaptable and intelligent dog which is a good fit for our homesteading lifestyle. From our experience and the feedback from owners of our dogs from our past litters, boradors have been easy to train, great for property protection from wildlife, and have never shown any aggression towards people.
Recent Litter
Born July 6, 2026
This litter has mainly taken on the looks of the Labrador retriever (sire) with five having the short golden hair and one having the golden coat that will look more like the border collie in length and texture. The dam is a border collie.
Born July 6, 2026, they have been raised in our dog kennel and have recently been roaming the yard. We are looking for homes for six five puppies from this litter (this page will be updated when a puppy gets it’s new home). These puppies have been around other dogs and some of the livestock on our farm.
